- Fletcher goes down on three straight strikes, but La Stella collects a ground-rule double. Trout Ks but Rendon drives in La Stella.
- Score: Angels 1, Giants 0
- Bottom 1st
- Slater doubles off the wall, but Yaz gets out with a swinging strike. Wilmer goes yard. Longo grounds out. Belt walks and Bart is hit by a pitch, yet Ruf grounds into a fielders choice at third.
- Score: Giants 2, Angels 1
- Top 2nd
- Gausman went from cruise control to suddenly 2 men on with 2 outs. Adell and Stassi both singled and Rengifo moved them over with a 3-1 after a Goodwin strikeout. Wilmer prevents any further damage by snagged liner up the middle.
- Bottom 2nd
- Crawford singles to the right side of the infield. Dubon follows it up with a single of his own. Both advance with a ball in the dirt that Castro has problems with. Slater grounds out back to Suarez. It doesn’t matter as Yaz brings them both in with a double and the Angels have seen enough of Suarez.
- Score: Giants 4, Angels 1
- Matt Andriese is in to pitch and he walks Wilmer Flores. Longo drives in a run with a single up the middle! Belt walks but Bart records his first major league strikeout. Dickerson pinch hits for Dickerson. Andriese walks Dickerson to bring in Flores. Crawford Ks to finally end it.
- Score: Giants 6, Angels 1
- Top 3rd
- La Stella and Trout record outs but Rendon stays hot with a single. Nothing happens as Ohtani K’s.
- Bottom 3rd
- Julia Tehran in for the Angels
- Dubon walks. Slater follows it up with a bloop single to right field. Yaz flies out but Dubon advances to third. Slater steals third. Flores drives them both in a with RBI single. Long and Belt end the inning.
- Score: Giants 8, Angels 1
- Top 4th – 8:30 pm at the inning start
- Brian Goodwin and Jo Adell ground out. Bemboom K’s on 97 mph cheddar from Gausman. Finally this game is moving along.

- Bart pops out. Dickerson flies out. Crawford crushes a homer. Dubon flies out.
