Finally, some breakfast food! These 1:05 pm games are generally oriented around lunch (despite the Snack Shack being open as early as 10:30 am, see below) so it was exciting to see the kitchen staff finally mix it up. I have to admit that the overall meal was somewhat hard to enjoy considering the ridiculous heat at Oracle Park.
The burrito was great, both the taste and structural integrity of the wrapping held up to high standards. I had to switch over to the Dippin Dots sooner than I expected in an effort to prevent them from melting. It was the first time I was trying the Cookies ‘n Cream flavor at Oracle Park and I was not disappointed. The Oreo cookie crumble bits were a nice surprise and the cold ice cream was really refreshing. The second half of the burrito was a little soggier than the first, but nothing major. While the fresh fruit was basic, I still wish there was more of it.

#SFGiants Press Dining Hours of Operation for this week:
Summary: Cueto bounces back after allowing four hard-hit balls to the first four batters. Locastro’s first career leadoff HR gives the D-backs the early lead as he’s the first player to hit a leadoff HR off Cueto since June 26, 2015.
Live Play-by-Play: Locastro HR, Calhoun 1B, Peralta 1B (Calhoun to 3rd), Escobar K, F8 (sac fly, scores Calhoun), Vogt K
Score: Diamondbacks 2, Giants 0
Bottom 1st – LHP Alex Young
Escobar missed a pop up in foul territory (E5) which gave Yaz another pitch to work with. Men on the corners and no outs, Longoria grounds into a double play.
Slater 6-3, Solano 2B, Yaz 1B (Solano to 2nd), Longoria 6-4-3 DP
ARI 2, SF 0
Roses (Imanbek Remix) is Austin Slater's walkup music for his first at-bat today.
Another three up three down for Cueto. Also, Oracle Park seems excessively smokey and Darin Ruf’s double from the last inning is actually a single.
Locastro F9, Calhoun 5-3, Peralta K
ARI 2, SF 0
Bottom 3rd
Tromp’s solo shot off an 81 mph curveball puts the Giants on the board and Donnie Barrels with another good piece of hitting.
Tromp HR, Slater F9, Solano 1B
ARI 2, SF 1

Calhoun walked on 4 straight pitches (none were fastballs) and there was a fun play at the plate with Locastro’s bunt. Cueto comes up big with the K on Peralta to end the inning.

Tyler Rogers (2 Ks) collects his third save of the season as the Giants bats show some late pop. Slater and Solano both had multi hit games and Tromp/Belt each went deep
Cueto was hit hard to begin but settled down + the bullpen didnβt allow a run
